We had a wonderful time. Philippa and Ross were great hosts and the accommodation plus the grounds were beautiful. It was so peaceful and within easy distance of both Northern and Southern beaches. Our hosts recommended several places to visit which were all brilliant.

We have just returned after a perfect holiday (retreat ) at Durian Escapes. Phillippa is a lovely person, very helpful and polite. The area is remote for peace and tranquillity and there is a lovely meadow walk our 7 month lab puppy loved his holiday here. I have visited Cornwall on many occasions through the years and whilst in this location, we were able to explore many new coves and beaches and return “ home “ to Primrose at Durian to reflect on this beautiful area of Cornwall. We had the best week in The Stables, it is spacious and beautifully thought out, everything you need is there, Philippa is only a message away to answer any query! From spotting fish in the stream and bats in the meadow at dusk it is tranquil and calm. Ideally located near to lots of beaches and other activities we were busy all week having fun! We’ll be back!
